The only viable solution right now is to start a general strike.
Not a one day strike. Not a strike with a scheduled beginning and end date.
A general strike that becomes a permanent strike.
Our number one goal - both as individuals and as members of our communities - needs to be reclaiming control and ownership over every aspect of our lives.
We can only do that when we stop concentrating all of our attention and our labor to them and start turning it toward each other and ourselves.
Right now, the supremacists own and control everything. The only people who rise through a hierarchy are supremacists, thus every hierarchy exists exclusively to promote and support supremacists.
We need to replace the large, centralized hierarchies that control our lives with local determination, cooperation, and community, all built on a basic agreement to treat every single human with basic dignity and respecting their right to exist and thrive.
Even if creating smaller hierarchies is inevitable, they should be focused not on power - i.e. who gets to tell people what to do - but on coordination and guidance - i.e. who has the knowledge and experience that may help us more quickly solve the problems we face.
We Need to Stop Working For Supremacists and Start Working for Each Other
Money is currently the lever used to control all of us. We must break its power over us.
We are expected - practically from birth - to direct an overwhelming portion of our waking lives toward the ends laid out by supremacists.
We go to their schools to learn their history, how to read their literature, and how to do the work they direct us to do.
Most of us then go to work directly for them, creating value through our labor, collecting money from our peers, and redirecting a significant portion of those proceeds directly to supremacists we may never even meet, who don't even know our names (we call them. among other things, "executives" and "investors").
Housing is a basic human necessity, which means housing must be a basic human right.
But the supremacists claim ownership to all the property - whether as landlords, land developers, or governments - and require us to jump through countless hoops (credit checks, down payments, residency requirements, etc.) to prove we are worthy of being housed, even though it's the decent people who survey, grade, build on, and manage that land. The decent people get paid a fraction of the value of what they produce and are expected to turn around and give - on average - at least 25% of it back to the supremacists in exchange for the right to reside on the land in the homes they themselves produced.
If you rent or carry a mortgage, you do not own your residence. You do not have residential stability. If you doubt me, stop paying your rent and mortgage and see how long until they use threats of or actual violence against you. At some point, they will send armed thugs to physically remove you from your home.
We all have a need for nutritional food to keep us healthy, and proper care and medicine when our health fails, which means food and healthcare must be a basic human right.
But the supremacists control all the farmland and means of distribution, even though it's the decent people who exclusively manage, grow, harvest, distribute, and even prepare the food it produces. They get paid a fraction of what they produce, and are expected to turn around and give a significant portion of it right back to the supremacists in exchange for some of the food they themselves produced.
Culture is an artifact of humanity. If two people are left alone long enough, they will develop a unique culture that is their's alone - think of the inside jokes, stories, and knowing phrases you share with your partners, spouses, and close friends and no one else. I lived alone for a long time and developed a series of unique habits that can only be described as an individual's culture. We can't help but create culture - it's just what we do.
But supremacists have worked overtime to "curate" what they believe is "high culture", denigrating that which they have always considered "vulgar", "common", or otherwise "beneath" them. They use the fear of a lack of money to convince decent people to let them control the communications channels we create. This includes the big and obvious channels that seem to drown out all individual culture these days - social media, television, movies, the music industry, etc. But it also includes an attempt to control our own individual culture, often by declaring certain things as "sinful" or otherwise negative through those bigger channels.
As a fan of things like Marvel and Star Wars - both relative recent intellectual property acquisitions by the massive Disney corporation - I am all too aware of how much of our culture we have allowed to be owned and controlled and, therefore, influenced by supremacist ideology.
If I write fan fiction set in the Star Wars universe, I could be sued - that is, Disney can ask the government to take any money I have earned just because I created culture using fictional elements of stories they claim to own, even though they did not create the original versions of ANY those stories.
If I write completely original stories with my own characters and events, I can share them. Until recently, though, most of the channels available to share those stories at scale were not directly available to me.
I can verbally tell the story to a group of friends, but it's not likely to spread beyond them. If I want a wider audience, I could publish it as an article or a book, or I could adapt it into a screenplay or audio story. Even if I did all the production myself, however, I would still need to access a distribution system to get it in front of as many people who may enjoy it as possible.
It costs resources to publish books and movies and recordings, and those resources are all owned and controlled by supremacists. They use this power to curate what gets shared and promoted. They often lie about the popularity of a thing to convince people a thing is popular, thus elevating its value to them.
There's no reliable way to verify the lie.
They can then use their channels to drown out anything they don't agree with, leaving the rest of us to scramble "underground" for culture we can call our own.
They they buy that underground culture too.
Because we let them.
Because we think we need their money so we can pay them for the food we grow and the housing we build and the culture we create.
Do you see how ludicrous this is?
Take it Back
A general strike, therefore, can not be a one day thing.
There's nothing to negotiate here.
For so long as we allow them to have control over our lives, for so long as we pay more attention to their needs and their money than our own needs and health, nothing can improve. Misery and fear will always reign.
At this point, you may think me a communist.
I am not. I abhor communism.
Communism is yet another form of supremacy, one that pretends to put "the people" above the individual. We've seen the results of this approach time and again - like capitalism and all forms of supremacy before it, it always leads to authoritarianism, as we've seen in China and Russia and others.
I do not like labels because they overly simplify insanely complex beliefs such that the vital details are never addressed. If you must, I exist somewhere between a secular humanist, a communalist, and an anarchist.
What I am proposing is something we've never really seen, but something we more or less already live. Our natural preferred state is to work together. We have survived and thrived as a species because of our ability to communicate, which is the first and most vital step toward cooperation.
Cooperation - not competition - is ALWAYS the most successful survival strategy.
Even in competition - whether we're talking conventional war or a game of basketball - the side that most often prevails is the one that best communicates and cooperates with one another. Individual competitors rely on coaches for training - again, cooperation is the winning strategy.
The company you work for works because you and your co-workers cooperate on meeting the goals of your organization, not because you have a "visionary" CEO. That CEO is useless without a team of people working together toward that stated vision.
So, why does the CEO - who contributes almost nothing to the productive output of the company - get paid multiples over what the average worker gets?
It's not enough to simply walk off your jobs. Absent money, we still rely on the productive output of our neighbors and communities to survive. It's a waste of effort and resources for each of us to grow all of our own food, make all of our own clothes, weave all of our own cloth, mill all of our own wood, etc. When we work together and specialize in some areas, we can produce more of these things more efficiently and lift all metaphorical boats.
But we should be the ones to direct that labor and meet the needs of our communities. True individual self-sufficiency is rather difficult to achieve. Community self-sufficiency - where we depend most on those who matter most to us - is, on the other hand, not only our natural state, but rather easy to accomplish.
We have allowed supremacists to take credit for our work for far too long - not only for our labor, but for the very essence of the communities we built and maintain. We let their fear direct us.
We must stop focusing on the supremacist economy and their narrow and corrupt ideology and turn our attention toward ourselves and the people who matter to us. We must make addressing our basic human needs - our very humanity - our top priority, not their money.
To do that, we must overcome the fear they have filled us with.
We must realize there is nothing special about supremacists - at least nothing that makes them any more special than anyone else.
They are not smarter. They are not more skilled. They are not "better".
They are willing to lie. They are willing to steal. They are willing kill and force themselves on people.
They are willing to pervert basic human needs and humanity to satisfy their own selfish desires and assuage their imagined fears.
This is why another word for "supremacist" - my preferred term - is "pervert".
And perverts they are, in every sense of the term.
The Epstein files - if nothing else - put that truth into sharp focus.
I do have a plan to fix all this.
It starts with you realizing that all the people from whom you take orders - not guidance and suggestions, but actual orders - are perverts.
There is no value in servicing perverts. They have burned the decency out of themselves - they want to burn the decency out of you.
Do not let them.
Stop carrying water for perverts.
Once you have made this mental shift, you're ready for the next stage in the plan.
That comes in Part III.
